Resources for Early Career Researchers
ECR Working Group
The Early Career Researchers' working group is a Faculty of Education Research Committee initiative. The working groups' aim is to support the research endeavours of ECRs in the Faculty. We have begun this process with a consulation phase which aimed to identify barriers and opportunities for ECRs. This consultation phase included individual meetings and email correspondence as well as focus group discussions at Gippsland, Clayton, and Peninsula campuses. This process has resulted in a number of strategies being considered including ECR specific seminars, ECR sessions at faculty day, an ECR web page linking to relevant resources, a mentoring scheme, and a retreat.
ECRs are encouraged to contact the working party with suggestions for supporting ECRs.
