ARC Discovery process in the Faculty of Education

September onwards	Faculty Research Office staff are available to provide administrative assistance	Send a blank email to arc@adm.monash.edu.au with the subject title "DP10". They will place you on their mailing list, so you can receive important notices about ARC Discovery during the application period.
13th October	Faculty Research Office	Faculty ARC Strategic Mentoring Scheme workshop and mentors assigned.
October- January	Mentors	Mentors will work with those applicants who are planning on submitting in the next round.
12th November	University Research Office	ARC/NHMRC Grant Writing workshop
27th November	University Research Office	ARC or NHMRC: How to pitch your proposal workshop
December - February	Faculty Research Office staff are available to provide administrative assistance	GAMS entry to be started (when available)
December - February	Faculty Research Office staff are available to provide administrative assistance	Assistance with sourcing costs for budget section of application will be available.
January	Readers	Drafts of Section E to be read by two general readers in the Faculty and Emeritus Professors (where appropriate), and comments returned to facilitate revision of drafts. The Faculty’s Research Office will have a list of previous successful applicants prepared to act as readers and can organise this for applicants.
2 February	Faculty Research Office staff are available to provide administrative assistance	First drafts of complete applications to be submitted to University Research Office (via Faculty Research Office), where they will be read by two editors and returned to applicants for any necessary revisions. Application forms to be completed in GAMS.
February	Coordinator Research Services – Faculty Research Office (Clayton)	Final version of applications can be submitted to the Faculty Research Office with completed coversheets, where appropriate approvals will be arranged with the ADR and Dean, and hand-delivered to University's Research Office. Deadlines will be negotiated with University following review stage.
4 March	University Research Office	ARC deadline

Administrative assistance for applicants is available throughout this process by contacting the Administrative Officers - Research on the respective campus.

All queries or concerns from applicants should be channeled through to the Coordinator - Research Services in the Faculty’s Research Office, who will liaise with the University’s Research Office and respond to you directly.
