These groups are no longer operational.
Each postgraduate coursework program (that is, each coherent clusters
of courses) will have a reference group advisory to the Course Coordinator.
The Committee will normally meet a minimum of twice per year.
Notes of meetings will be forwarded to the Associate Dean (Teaching -
Postgraduate) for noting and action as required.
A Course Coordinator from the program area selected by the Associate
Dean Dean (Teaching - Postgraduate) - Chair
Academics teaching on the courses within the program area
Members will normally hold office for the duration of their appointment
to a position.
- To advise the Course Coordinator on the management of courses
and of issues which should be brought to the attention of Curriculum
Committee including the need for course and unit amendments
- To act as a means for the communication of course related
matters between teaching staff, administrative staff and management
of the Faculty (including Faculty policies on assessment, quality assurance
and teaching resources)
- To provide a forum for the discussion of issues related to
the management of teaching and learning in the program (including course
development and evaluation)
