Professional and Postgraduate Course Coordinator's Reference Groups

These groups are no longer operational.

Each postgraduate coursework program (that is, each coherent clusters of courses) will have a reference group advisory to the Course Coordinator.

Meetings

The Committee will normally meet a minimum of twice per year.

Reporting

Notes of meetings will be forwarded to the Associate Dean (Teaching - Postgraduate) for noting and action as required.

Membership

A Course Coordinator from the program area selected by the Associate Dean Dean (Teaching - Postgraduate) - Chair
Academics teaching on the courses within the program area

Terms of Office

Members will normally hold office for the duration of their appointment to a position.

Terms of Reference

  1. To advise the Course Coordinator on the management of courses and of issues which should be brought to the attention of Curriculum Committee including the need for course and unit amendments
  2. To act as a means for the communication of course related matters between teaching staff, administrative staff and management of the Faculty (including Faculty policies on assessment, quality assurance and teaching resources)
  3. To provide a forum for the discussion of issues related to the management of teaching and learning in the program (including course development and evaluation)
