Research scholarships

Generally, for Australian residents, degrees by research are covered by the Federal government’s Research Training Scheme (RTS), which waives tuition fees. RTS is administered by Monash Research Graduate School (MRGS). For more details and to check your eligibility, contact the Faculty on (03) 990 52819 or mayur.katariya@education.monash.edu.au.

Scholarships are awarded competitively on academic merit. This means students must possess grades equivalent to a first-class honours (H1) degree to be eligible. Most scholarships are awarded on an annual basis.

Scholarship kits are available from the Faculty Research Office in August each year. The deadline for applications is the end of October.
