Professional development programs

The Faculty offers professional development and short courses to individuals and organisations, both local and international, in areas that align with the Faculty's strengths and educational development priorities.

Short courses

The Faculty runs a number of non-award short courses that might be of interest to people who are changing their careers, who would like to learn new skills, or who work in schools with students with special needs.

Award courses for cohorts

The Faculty delivers Award courses, such as Masters, Post Graduate Certificates and other qualifications, in partnership with public and private sector organisations. These courses are customised to suit the needs of the organisation.

For example:

  • Master of Education (coursework/thesis) - delivered to Eummemering College staff
  • Master of Education (coursework) - delivered to Cleeland Secondary School staff
  • Master of Education (coursework), specialising in Work and Learning Studies - delivered to TAFE teachers, such as Box Hill Insitute, Chisholm Institute, Gordon Institute, Holmesglen Institute, Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE, Gippsland TAFE
  • Master in School Leadership - delivered in partnership with DEECD, to school leaders from across Victoria
  • Master in Organisational Leadership - delivered to Visy staff
