Professional Placements Office

The Professional Placements Office is responsible for the organisation of the Professional Placements for the following Faculty of Education programmes:

Early Childhood (Pre-service)
Primary (Pre-service)
Secondary (Pre-service)
Postgraduate Diploma of Education (Inclusive and Special Ed) NSW DET cohort
Postgraduate Diploma and Masters of Education (Inclusive and Special Ed)
Postgraduate Diploma and Masters of Education (TESOL)
Master in Counselling

Please note that placements for the Master of Psychology (Counselling) or Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) programs are not managed by the Professional Placements Office. For further information please visit the Clinical placements for psychology students website.

During any given year, the Professional Placements Office will facilitate over 5,000 placements. These will vary in duration from 1 day per week to full year placements. The Professional Placements Office operates as a link between the students, the placement settings, and the academic staff at Monash University where applicable, to facilitate these placements.
