  1. To be eligible to graduate from the course students must have completed a minimum of 80 days of satisfactory teaching practice.
  2. To receive the awards of Bachelor of Visual Arts and Bachelor of Education, a student must successfully complete units totalling 204 points, consisting of:
    1. Studies in Education (108 points) including a series of units relating to the theory and practice of education, teaching and curriculum.
    2. Studies in Visual Arts (96 points) including:
      • Discipline Major Visual Arts Studio - This is a major core study of 48pts, comprising 12pts at year one level and at least 36pts at year two and three level. Students select one of the following major studies: Ceramics, glass, metals/jewellery, painting studio, photo-media studio, print-media studio, sculpture studio, visual arts studio or theory of art & design*. (* if combined with 12pts of studio art [practical])
      • ** Students in first year Visual Arts must be concurrently enrolled in OHS1000 (0 credit points), which is a compulsory unit in all Visual Arts degrees and must be completed in first semester, first year.
