  1. To be eligible to graduate from the course students must have completed a minimum of 80 days of satisfactory teaching practice.
  2. To receive the awards of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education, a student must successfully complete units totalling 192 points, consisting of:
    1. Studies in Education (96 points) including a series of units relating to the theory and practice of education, teaching and curriculum.
    2. Studies in Arts (96 points) including:
      • Arts Discipline Major Arts sequence (48pts)
      • Arts Discipline Minor Arts sequence (24pts)
      • Arts Discipline 1st yr Arts sequence (12pts)
      • A further 12 points in Arts units

      • Discipline A#: An Arts Major sequence (48pts)
      • Discipline B*: An Arts Minor sequence (24pts)
      • Discipline C**: Another 1st yr Arts sequence (12pts)
      • Discipline D***: A Further 12 Arts points. May be selected from discipline A, B, C at first or 2nd year level, or Discipline D at 1st or 2nd year level.
  3. Please note that for primary stream - all Arts units to be undertaken at Clayton campus and all Education units are undertaken at Peninsula campus (except for EDF1303 and EDF1304, which must be undertaken at Clayton campus).
  4. ***Students can substitute LOTE unit (EDF4412 LOTE education 2) for (EDF4312 Professional contexts 2)
