To be eligible to graduate from the course students must have completed a minimum of 80 days of satisfactory teaching practice.
To receive the awards of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education, a student must successfully complete units totalling 192 points, consisting of:
1. Studies in Education (96 points) including a series of units relating to the theory and practice of education, teaching and curriculum.
2. Studies in Arts (96 points) including:
  - Arts Discipline Major Arts sequence (48pts)
  - Arts Discipline Minor Arts sequence (24pts)
  - Arts Discipline 1st yr Arts sequence (12pts)
  - A further 12 points in Arts units

  - Discipline B*: An Arts Minor sequence (24pts)
  - Discipline C**: Another 1st yr Arts sequence (12pts)
  - Discipline D***: A Further 12 Arts points. May be selected from discipline A, B, C at first or 2nd year level, or Discipline D at 1st or 2nd year level.
Please note that for primary stream - all Arts units to be undertaken at Clayton campus and all Education units are undertaken at Peninsula campus (except for EDF1303 and EDF1304, which must be undertaken at Clayton campus).
***Students can substitute LOTE unit (EDF4412 LOTE education 2) for (EDF4312 Professional contexts 2)
